You can visit the old town walls that surround the former 14 th century Gothic hospital, which at present houses an exhibition center.
A stroll around the streets of Hospitalet de L Infant will take you to various squares: Pla del Pau (town well), Catalunya (Catalonia), L'Esglesia de la Marina (the church) and Coll de Balaguer. Near the beach is a nice promenade, which is also ideal for children. Behind the town there is a small chapel, Sant Roc, on top of a mountain which is accessible by foot, and offers great views.
In the town of L'Almadrava you can visit the chapel of Sant Jaume. A walk by the sea should also prove pleasant.
In the regions of the mountains are several interesting destinations as well.
In Vandellós, there is the church of Sant Andreu that goes back to 1773. The squares and streets in the town are characteristic of this area and if you continue on to the top of the mountain, you will be rewarded with magnificent views. There are also paths along which you can trek. In the village of Masboquera there is a Riding Center, and you can march through the mountains on horseback. Finally, at Masriudoms you can see the 13 th century steeple with its bell. Close to the Pla de la Font (Fountain) you will find a small open-air washhouse.
