Cambrils is a well-known fishing town on the Costa Dorada (Golden Coast), 15 minutes south of the active town of Salou and the historic Roman town of Tarragona, while just an hour away from Barcelona. Buses and trains are available from Cambrils port to all major cities. The town of Cambrils is located along the sea front so naturally, it has fine beaches and sands families can take pleasure in. However, Cambrils is a place not only for families but also for couples, singles and groups of friends.
Once a small fishing village, Cambrils has grown and developed into two sections. In the heart of the town center is a large indoor fish market, where a superb assortment of fish is brought in daily from the local port.
