Getting there

The usual choice of entry to the Costa Dorada is Barcelona s El Prat de Llobregat Airport which offers many flight options. The Reus Airport is another convenient option if you re staying in the south of the coast. Both airports have reliable and convenient transfers to the surrounding regions.

Every 30 minutes, trains leave from Barcelona s airport to its city center. The A-7/E-15 highway services the main towns along the coast, and then runs inland to Barcelona. The coastal A-16 highway also runs into Barcelona. Regular trains service the coast from Madrid s Atocha Station, and there is a coastal line connecting the main towns. Buses are also an option from the capital and Barcelona, although they can sometimes be uncomfortable and unreliable.
